Marking the Calendar: The GFX Release Date & Development Update

Since we launched the TriTriSim Founders Program, our focus has been entirely on one thing: delivering on the promise of a truly physics-driven atmospheric engine. You’ve joined us on this journey because you value transparency and high-fidelity simulation. Today, we’re taking the next step by locking in the official release.

The Date: April 23rd

We have officially set April 23rd as the release day for GFX.

Choosing a date is about more than just a deadline; it’s about establishing a clear trajectory for the final stretch of development. We want the community to know exactly when they can expect to see the results of the work we’ve been doing behind the scenes.

A Realistic Look at Development

In the spirit of being completely sincere with our community: we aren't in the "final stages" yet. There is still a significant amount of work to be done between now and April 23rd. We aren't just sitting back and polishing; we are actively adding features and expanding the scope of the engine every day.

We believe in "telling, not selling." Here is exactly where we stand:

  • Airplane Compatibility: We have surpassed a major milestone. We currently have over 12 airplane families fully functional and running with the GFX system.
  • Active Development: Our current sprints are focused on implementing entirely new visual effects and refining existing ones to ensure they react realistically to the environment.
  • Stability: While we are adding content, we are simultaneously stress-testing the build to ensure that when April 23rd arrives, the experience is stable and performance-friendly.

What’s Next?

Between now and the release, we will be sharing more technical deep dives. We want to show you the progress on those 12+ aircraft families and give you a closer look at the specific effects we’re adding to the engine.

We aren't aiming for a "perfect" static product—we’re aiming for a living, breathing simulation tool that evolves. April 23rd is just the beginning.

As always, we are keeping the doors open for your questions. If you want to know about specific aircraft compatibility or the math behind our new effects, head over to the #qna channel in our Discord.

The dev team is active, the build is growing, and we’ll see you on April 23rd.
